Mike has lived in Tampa for over 20 years and has tattooed for 14 years. From early on, he would hang out in his older brother's room and draw doodles with him. This sparked his love and passion for anything art.

In early 2008, he began a tattoo apprenticeship under Everett Joens in Oldsmar, Florida, and never turned back. Since then, he has won multiple awards at various tattoo conventions across the country and has built a clientele of amazing customers from all walks of life.

Mike takes pride in not only his work, but he goes the extra mile to provide his customer with all the best materials possible for their care and comfort.  Mike decided to broaden his knowledge further and enrolled at The Los Angeles Film School to pursue a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in August of 2022. His love for photography and digital design quickly excelled him in new mediums, leading to the founding in August of 2020 of "Honcho Design Studios."
